Uranium Experience

Technical Capability

Uranium Equities is proud of the depth of technical capability that our company can bring together. The company has collectively over 120 years of recent and past uranium industry experience across a diverse professional base – geology, mining, processing, metallurgy, environment, radiation and legal. This experience, we believe, is unmatched in the junior uranium exploration and mining sectors in Australia, and may well be unmatched by many of the larger uranium companies as well. Table 1 outlines Uranium Equities' past combined experience in uranium exploration, development and mining.

The core in-house technical capabilities can be summarised as follows:

  • Uranium geology and mineralogy;
  • Uranium exploration and discovery;
  • Uranium resource/reserve assessment and validation;
  • Uranium project due diligence reviews and valuation;
  • Uranium project design and development;
  • Uranium mine engineering (both conventional and in-situ leach);
  • Uranium mine permitting, including technical, environmental, radiation safety and Indigenous approvals and agreements;
  • Uranium mine operations (both conventional and in-situ leach);
  • Uranium mine closure and reclamation;
  • Uranium issues in the context of government, public and stakeholder relationships; and
  • Uranium marketing and transport (built on over 15 years of uranium delivery relationships and including experience within Australia).

A significant part of the most relevant technical capabilities of our company are the result of the recent and successful permitting, construction and operations of the Beverley ISL uranium mine located in South Australia. Beverley is the newest and most modern uranium project in Australia and similarly one of the newest and largest producing uranium projects of its type in the world. This coupled with a number of new discoveries (Beverley Deep South & Beverley Four Mile) and other uranium project experience in Australia and overseas, is exceptional in a time where uranium experience is very difficult and/or nearly impossible to come by with other organisations. Several key personnel instrumental in the success of Beverley and Beverley Four Mile now work for Uranium Equities.

Uranium Equities can present a full range of disciplines and experience in the evaluation and development of uranium projects in Australia. We have the ability to apply a focus on these deposits where others don’t have the people, resources and/or experience to do so or are otherwise engaged on other uranium development projects.

This focus, plus the available technical skills uniquely sets Uranium Equities apart from others.
